Silentry, 2008, (This and other books are not shown in their entirety.)
This is a catalog of Trosino's 2008 exhibition, Silentry, held in Adrian College's Heritage Gallery in Adrian, Michigan. Within the pages are selected works that were on display, Trosino's artist statment, recommended reading, installation images, playlist, and more. This catalog has also been used as a self promotional tool for illustration work. -
She Wakes, 2007
This book is a collection of thoughts, meditations, and reflections that is also a narrative of Trosino's personal journey from 2005-2007. -
Botanica Euphoria, 2005
This book was inspired by a set of antique botanical prints Trosino admired in a museum. "I wondered what it would be like to catalog never-before-seen plants from my imagination and so I created this small book. This project was a welcome change from the seriousness and severity of prior works, and I appreciated the lightheartedness and humor apparent in these simple drawings." -
Going Postal, 2003
This project-to design postage stamps-was originally an assignment Trosino gave her elementary school students several years ago. "It was a simple and fun way to loosen up with drawing. Working in such a small space is far less intimidating and frees up insecurities. My students and I really benefited from that." -
So Serious, 2002
This book depicts the technical and personal challenges artists encounter later in their careers. "I wanted to create a childlike approach to this adult topic, and so I used a blank grammar school composition book with crayon illustrations. It was interesting to see the final result, especially since the illustrations convey a stark intensity rather than the originally intented innocence."
